CSA 18U UNITED is a mixture of 1st year 18s and 2nd year 18s looking to compete against and with the best competition locally, regionally and nationally. This team will play an A schedule locally, regionally, select out of showcase state tournaments. This team will look to qualify for Nationals for the 2nd year in a row with a focus on college placement

ABOUT THE HEAD COACHES:

Head Coach: Riley Frost (Plogger)

Riley is in her 3rd year has Head Coach with CSA, spending the last two seasons at 16s. Having played 4 years as an outfielder at Utah State University, Riley played a grad year at University of Northern Colorado while attaining her Masters Degree. Coach Riley understand how to teach the game and implement strategies at an elite level. She has an unparalleled way of connecting with her athletes and is in their corner for life!

Assistant Coach: Haley Gehler

Coach Haley is in her 2nd year coaching with CSA 18s. Haley is one of the most decorated infielders and slappers to come out of Colorado, having played for Colorado State University for four years. Haley is currently an Asst. Coach for University High School and specializes in infield and hitting development. 

Assistant Coach: Kim Kullberg

Coach Kim is in her 2nd year coaching with CSA, having served as Co-Head Coach of the 14u Black team in 23/24. Coach Kim pitched for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh before a shoulder injury forced her into an early coaching career. Kim specializes in developing pitchers and hitters, and is excited to support the growth and development of the next generation of college softball players.

TRYOUT INFORMATION:

Date: July 8th
Time: 10am – 11:30am @ Alliance Performance Center NOCO (Pitchers and Hitters Evaluation)
      Noon – 2pm @ University of Northern Colorado Softball Field (Catchers, Defense & Hitting Evaluation)

Tryout Fee: $50
Tryout fees are assessed to ensure the athletes trying out are serious about playing for CSA. The ee is non-refundable: The tryout fee will be applied to player fees if offered a spot. Athletes must register for tryouts to be considered.
